bullet26/03/02 - Empty At The End/This Given Line

The ESP have confirmed their new double a-sided single, 'Empty At The End/This Given Line', will be released through db records on May 13th - coinciding with their UK tour and just three days before their Astoria show for NME. The b-sides are confirmed as 'The Loop' and 'Aerial Roots'; a live favourite which ESP intended to be the first track on the album, but 'Start Again' was favoured by their record company. 'Empty At the End' was first released as a double a-side with 'Sumatran' back in July 2001, and is the follow up to the top 25 hit 'Silent To The Dark II'. It will most likely be released on 2 CD's and 7" vinyl.

11/03/02 - ESP at 23

Silent To The Dark II has hit the charts with the ESP's highest position yet, number 23, charting higher than big names like Gomez (shot shot), The Dandy Warhols (get off) and Cornershop (lessons learned...). Big-haired emo-rockers Hundred Reasons managed to make it to number 19 with their single 'if I could' - and I think its pretty obvious who is at number 1 ! The boys will be appearing on Top Of The Pops this Friday, so make sure you don't miss it! Silent To The Dark II has also made it onto the A-list of the new digital radio channel BBC Music 6, which you can find on the internet and digital TV. If you haven't caught the fantastic video yet, MTV2 have been playing it on MTV2 Recommends and Top 15 Most Wanted. Nice work lads!
